Maybe it's not the time to ride.

I went out and took a ride this afternoon. I was getting close to home, but thought I might add a little mileage with a detour.

Then as I get to the next intersection I get right hooked by a van. I avoid contact though. As the van clears out of the intersection, and I go through it, a fellow comes out of the side street and almost runs me over.

That spoiled my attitude and I decided to pack it in and circled the block to go home. Must have been some bad juju going around, because one block further, there were lots of police cars and those little orange cones they use to mark shell casings or bullets were all over the place. So I pedaled the remaining block home, happy to be back.

I dunno, sounds like someone was watching out for you. The wreck almost happened, but didn't, somebody got shot, but not you, and you had a good ride.

I just rode an old beater bike down to Walmart. On the way, a fire truck and ambulance passed me, they both went to Walmart. I figured somebody that didn't ride probably had a heart attack in the bacon aisle while riding the too-fat-to-walk Walmart scooter-cart.

while riding the too-fat-to-walk Walmart scooter-cart. while riding the too-fat-to-walk Walmart scooter-cart. while riding the too-fat-to-walk Walmart scooter-cart.
And you, too may have your knee give out from arthritis and a meniscus tear some time. I hope you can make it around Wal Mart hopping on the good (well, maybe that one is not so good either) knee. Wouldn't want to use on of the scooter things. Someone might accuse you of being too "something" to walk.

And, yes, my wife has been there and done that and endured the looks of folks like you.

Well if an omniscient and omnipotent someone is doing such a sloppy job that things came so close that I had to intervene in two separate incidents so closely spaced in time, you have to wonder.

Does this imply that said someone was watching out for me better than said someone was watching out for the other person? I hope not.

I just found out on the news that it was a stabbing, rather than a shooting. So I guess that the little markers were for blood drippings, not bullets. He got stabbed in the neck and chest. The assailant is unknown.

The young man is still in the hospital, so if you would pray for him, that would be appreciated. I can't find out his name or the hospital, so we'll have to assume that the omniscient someone will know who you are praying for.

She is the parent of 3 adopted children with severe and profound disabilities.

She has a degenerative disease, which will eventually kill her, and which causes the weight gain, and there is really nothing she can do about it.

How easy it is to judge others.
