From: Me, I'm in Central Alabama C.S.A. But my husband is under the bed. He's sure there is a black helicopter orbiting our house.

Bikes: Schwin,Ross,Cannondale.

Kent Frame.

I went to Wal-Mart today....... OK I know there's a lot of people who quit reading right there.
I went to get a inexpensive bike to pull parts from. I had looked for what I wanted on line by it's parts and found my chosen bike had what would get me going on the cheep.

I got to wally world only to find there were none on the shelf. But the drop jaw guy working toys told me there was one in the back and he could "assemble it for me real quick" I said NO NO NO, that's OK, I'll take it in the box as I was only going to use it for parts any way. I was pretty shocked once I had striped this Kent frame down to find that it only weighed 5Lbs and 5 Oz. Then more to my surprise It has hourglass seat stays and the welds look great. It must be a machine weld because I only know a few people that can weld aluminum like that and they are in there 60's.

Has any one ever ridden our used one of these Kent bikes or know about the company? I did't look at the frame too hard as I was looking at the bike as parts. I think I should have taken it for a spin first YES/NO? Hummmmm well, maybe a sand blaster & paint project later.
