Have you thought about getting the fork straighten??

I took a crash on my 79 Competition. Took it to the shop, and they told me the fork was bent, and recommended a shop that straightens frames and forks. Took the bike there, and they put the fork in a jig, and low and behold the fork was not bent!! .. Also, if it was, and the bend was not that bad, they would have straighten it..
