Some of that sizing a track frame smaller is due to standover,which has no real meaning when on the bike.On trackframes the bottombracket is higher(usually ~2cm) to allow for clearance on the tracks bank,so the toptube is higher off the ground.If the trek fits fine, get which ever size moto has the closest toptube lenght.
