those are two fine choices. According to all the photos and specs I've seen the front fork has a mid fork attachment and it's made of steel. I think you'll have an excellent basis for comparison with those two. If your forks don't have midpoint attachments you can use P-clamps or Tubus sells a two part clamp system. I put that Blackburn on my daughters mountain bike with a bunch of zip ties.
