Although I try to cycle as often as possible, I also enjoy other forms of exercise. This weekend we moved 3200 lbs of construction material by aircraft to our remote cabin. We are in the final stages of completing the interior complete with off the grid solar, wood fired hot tub, cycle mounted on pontoons (hydrobike) for summer training, etc.

I spent many weekends staining and preparing t & g for the ceiling of the cabin. We loaded the Otter then 4 of us moved it up the hill into the cabin. We had to prepare a trail first, then move the lumber.

We completed a temporary loft to reach the cathedral ceilings in a few hours. These materials will be used for a new outhouse.

Otter load

Breaking trail (notice handlebars from hydrobike begging for use)

Hauling

Beautiful day to work

T & G hauled to temporary loft before installation

Visitors on the lake the next morning

T & G installed but not quite finished staining the trim

Downstairs wall finished up using bamboo flooring

Woodstove Flue trim

Friends flying out
