Went to the flea market for the first time in many months, and the place was hoppin'! Bikes I spotted, but didn't buy:

• 60's gold Phillips Sports step through
• 80's Trek 800 in perfect condition
• a very nice Fuji Cambridge IV
• a '68 Schwinn Stingray Runabout (completely spraypainted silver, and the vendor still wanted $180.)

My friend could not resist this Super Sport, it's in great condition and appears to have low mileage. If he didn't take it, I don't know that I would have been able to resist...






I was really tempted by a full oxy-acetlyne rig with a nice cart for $50, but I was a bit relieved that it was gone when I went back. I have enough trouble getting homeowner's insurance as it is I picked up five rolls of self-vulcanizing silicone tape for $1/roll (probably should have taken the entire box...,) some tubes for $1 each, and some NOS canti brake parts. Not a bad day.
