Yup. I can tell a 20 gram difference when I upgraded saddles, blind test and all. Yesterday went to a bike shop with a buddy, looked at the Specialized Prevail, Ionos, and Prolight - all top line helmets, IMO. He chose the Prevail as it was most comfortable. I'm not knocking the Prolight at all, but for me at least, there is more than one criteria than just absolute lightness.
I'll definitely try on a Prevail before I buy another helmet. It's getting great reviews.
For me, the Prolight was not only lighter, but it was WAYYYY more comfortable than my current helmet at the time.
Besides all of that, I loved it's "look". It was a win/win/win situation for me
(and I got if for about $129./shipped which wasn't too bad IMO).
