As I have mentioned, I have both an Ionos and Prolight so am not defending my choice of having bought one or the other. In my case I was referring to comfort, especially on longer rides, not a speed benefit. 1/4 lb on the bike will have no effect on comfort, but on the top of your head, it can.

Colin Chapman, btw, is/was one of my heroes.
