what's funny about that is here in chicago, rush hour traffic is so craptacular that even if i owned a car and chose to drive my work commute instead of biking it, it wouldn't save me a great deal of time at all.
bike: 45-50 minutes one way
train: 50-55 minutes one way
car: 35-60 minutes one way (bigger time window because traffic on LSD is so predictably unpredictable)
