Bringing the thread back to offer just a couple thoughts on my Rivendell Shopsack. I've been using this the past couple weeks on my commute in lieu of panniers or strapping my messenger bag into my front basket. I much prefer the Shopsack mostly for it's simplicity. In the AM, I just toss what I need in the bag, with the huge opening, arranging stuff is easy, then zip it closed and roll. When I get to work, I unclip the bag from the basket and carry it into the building, no fussing with attachment systems, pockets or straps. Handles are generous and the materials and workmanship are excellent. Very happy with the pure functionality of this piece!
