It maybe ways away from where you live, but mabe it's worth getting pre-fitted before the test ride and purchase... and with no obligations to you for this service, even if the bike isn't available on the spot and needs to be ordered. I haven't heard of any other LBS in the immediate Bay Area that will do something like that for their customers. But for someone to question your needs and wants, pre-measure you, put you on a bike-fitting machine to dial you in, and take those measurements on the specified bike before the test ride I think is a pretty awesome service. The only catch is that he won't give you your measurement and bike fit unless you pay for it. That's in case you're gonna take the business elsewhere. Just a suggestion... if you know of any other LBS that does this kind of service, I'd like to know about it so I can compare since I'm still in the market for my bike.
