The 105 parts might clean up nicely. Also it looks like the rear rim is almost new-- the black anodizing hasn't even been rubbed off from braking. Hopefully the frame rust isn't deep.

I'd say rather than the bike devil being hard at work this is more of a case of the bike god being off duty at the time. It's not that bad a deal.
I don't know nothing about cleaning, fixing, wrenching, so I am dead in the water on those.
I woudn't even bring the thing in the house...It is in the garage..
