i love my 7000. heavier than some maybe but i ride it alot and its tough as nail. For kicks i took it on a trail, actually made it about 2.5 miles....didnt hit the ground much more then the folks with mountain bikes either. It took a whole lot of abuse and needed some cable tightening when it was over. It does great at the park, to and from the gym or people's houses, but can still do a creekside path or grassy area with no problem, or even light sand. The trail stuff has me watching for an inexpensive used mountain bike at a yard sale or something...lol what a blast
