I have the women's version of the 7000. It's a 2010 model and I love it! I replaced the heavy, power-robbing suspension seatpost with a normal one yesterday. Today I took it on some local hills. What a difference! The bike used to feel sluggish on climbs. Now it climbs better and I don't have to get out of the saddle as much.

When I bought the bike I took off the dork disk and chainguard and added toe clips and bar ends. Recently I lowered the adjustable stem as far as it would go because I was sitting too upright before. That also helped, especially in today's sufferfest headwind. I also replaced the heavy, uncomfortable gel saddle with a Serfas Terazzo Select women's saddle.
