There used to be a bike shop in Washinton, NC, but I can't find it in google. They once hosted a century ride that I did. It went from Washington to Chocwinity to Aurora taking the ferry over to Bath (Blackbeard's homeport) then backroads back to Washington as I recall. You may be able to figure out a route on your own using mapquest or something.

Belhaven Memorial Museum if you like the weird and strange. It's in nearby Belhaven, NC.
