Thanks. I can try the settings again, but I did that. Twice, to be sure. It went through the hours and minutes, but I saw no way to change to 24 hour time.

BTW, this has been the crappiest spring I remember in a while here too. Hardly any chance to ride in decent weather. I really don't mind rain so much, it's just another excuse I need to overcome.
