A lot of people with money ride compact cranks. On top of that, I actually know some cat 1 / neo pro's that ride compact. You don't have to be a weak rider to want to ride a compact. I wish I would have switched to compact years ago, would have probably helped me avoid several knee surgeries.

As for the dura ace crank and brakes, neither do anything for me. I would rather have my planet-x brakes than the dura ace ones and I would definitely stick with my quarq crankset.
