Here's a little hint from a guy who, to quote a friend of mine, has "won more races than you've been in".
The guy with the flat is the guy going backwards through the field.
The Cat4 waving and yelling sheet rarely if ever happens in a P1/2 race. I've never seen it in an NRC race. But that you need both a rotating beacon, vocalization, hand waving, the Goodyear f'n blimp, and probably a Tweet and a Facebook post to figure out who has the flat gives me little to no hope that you'll be productive enough in later life to get my Arby's order right (Roast Turkey and Swiss, no fries, iced tea) let alone fund my Social Security.
And this, my friends, is why I have a 401k, a 457, and IRA, and a stock portfolio.
