Heel Rub and frame integrity

Hello.

I am interested in purchasing a frame, and the driver's side chainstay has some significant heel rub, resulting in a raw spot.

Here is a picture:

I am not interested in discussing pricing, sourcing, purchase suggestions or any other sort of opinions for this item, all I want to know is if this bald spot has a serious affect on the frame's integrity.

In case it wasn't obvious, the frame in question is a CAAD frame.
