The lever on my Rival RD shifter broke last week during a ride. Not the lever itself but up in the shifting mechanism. Bottom line is that the lever came completely off and I was glad I had only made it a couple of blocks from the office when it happened. I took it in to the LBS and they contacted SRAM. SRAM warrantied everything, and immediately shipped a new shifter instead of waiting to receive and inspect the broken part first.

One week later, and I have my bike back and ready for tomorrow's century.

I really liked my Rival group before, and now I love the company that stands behind it. Thanks to SRAM warranty group and Bingham Cycles in Sandy, Utah for a job well done!!!
