I like the SRAM stuff on my MTB as well as my son's but have been a Campy guy for my road bikes. Recently I have been looking for a new bike for my wife and was looking specifically at the Specialized Ruby Elite Apex. One of my friends at the shop warned me that they have had a large volume of SRAM failures and while they warranty everything they are becoming a bit leery of the SRAM road stuff. I spoke with the owner this evening as we were sizing my wife on the Ruby and he confirmed what my buddy had said. I may have to strip the bike down and build it back up with Campy....
