True so far. My first gen Fluid failed due to leak or bad impeller, can't remember which. My Fluid 2 is still going strong after several years. But it's not like I have hundreds of hours on it. The lifetime warranty gives me peace of mind. It's a very good trainer.

Oh, and the Fluid 2 is relatively quiet. The bike/drivetrain make all the noise.
