Just a heads up about these pumps...

I purchased a new Lezyne Steel Drive floor pump in at the end of March for home use. I've used the thing about half a dozen times since.

Today, while topping up my 26x1.50's @ 60psi i suddenly hear the dreaded hissing of fleeing air. WTF!! I thought the tube went, but upon inspection I find that the chuck collar of this $50.00...investment?...is a piece of cheap plastic that has split and now the pump is useless.

I see that for $16.00 Mr Lezyne will sell me the hose/chuck that should have been included with this waste of time and money product.

I'll head to the place of purchase tonight to see if they'll rectify the issue, but I suspect they'll say it's been too long since I made the purchase, even though I still have the sale receipt.

Oh...and no the pump wasn't ham fisted or abused in fact I'd be quite happy to keep it if they replace the hose with the one that obviously Lezyne knows should've been part of the pump in the first place.
