I wear a blaze orange Bell Metro, which was made in 2007. I've never dropped it on a hard surface, or taken a hit, but it's seen a lot of UV and sweat exposure.

I've read that helmets deteriorate over time. Unfortunately, Bell has chosen to discontinue the Metro, and I have several snap on Metro rain covers(which is a great idea as they don't cover up the rear blinkie). Bell offers the Muni, but it doesn't appear to be backward compatible with Metro accessories----stupid!

So, should I trust this helmet with the miles and wear on it?
