looigi, I loathe having things attached to my bike, car, house, etc. I think everything should be clean, free of clutter, and devoid of any distractions. I don't do stickers, dash mats, add on anything... call me crazy, but I view a seat bag as a distraction from a beautiful bike and clutter that's in the way. I'm surprised I carry one at all, but I just can't train myself to remember to bring everything I need and having it on the bike at all times ensures I'll never be without a spare tube. Since I hate them so much, the smallest one I can get away with is the one I'll ride with.
here is a tip, i like you hate seat bags. put the spare tubes, co2, tire levers, etc in your helmet when you are done riding. that way you know you wont forget them. i put everything i need but the spare tube in an Oakley sunglass bag so its always together (you could also use a rubber band). i would have to forget my helmet, sunglasses(also keep in helmet when not riding), and gloves(guess where i keep them) to leave my spare tube and tools at home. im prety sure i would notice i was missing all these things when i got on the bike.
