I'd been looking for a ride to work bike for about a month, trawling eBay, making bids, watching as the prices always went higher than i wanted to pay for a runabout. Getting super frustrated. Then last weekend I walked out the front and this was sitting over the road in a hard rubbish pile, no tires, wobbly wheels, ripped seat and filthy. So after a few hours of elbow grease (and some healthy lashings of fresh bearing grease), new tires, $20 seat, $20 campagnolo brakes, 15 mins straightening the wheels, some shiny new bolts, she ended up like this.
