I did. It's hard to come back to America after a trip to Amsterdam

Would you believe me if I told you there was none? I'm sure there is but it seems people aren't too worried. People don't even lock their bikes to anything, they just lock the wheels to the frame. There's too many bikes in Amsterdam
Lots of bike traffic, but you aren't forced to ride slow. I really don't know how to explain how the bike traffic works over there, but it works
If your bike has a sign on it it will be Messed with,,,,You probably will be scared for a moment but it usually leaves the bike none the worse for ware....with 6 months total is the country I only remember 3 helmets,,,one on the only recumbent...The reason I was told the bikes all alike because the Germans brought them and they traded hands, fleeing the country, after they where liberated...until the market was flooded with replicas and that is what works there...
