It's funny because whenever my mom sees me she always tells me I'm too skinny and I need to eat something. I remind her I weight the same as I have for the last 12 years and she still says I look like I'm losing weight.
I work in a piping products testing lab and have a handy floor scale (that's even callibrated to ISO 17025) and weight myself after long rides or the day after a hard workout. Sometimes I haven't eaten or drank enough and don't realize it until I hop on the scale. It's good for keeping after things like that, I find.
