My hands are medium (slim but not short) and I prefer the larger size. The extra wide platform is what makes these grips so comfortable, and the large size will offer more support. I'd only recommend the small for people with short fingers, as they may have trouble getting a good grip around the large.

As long as you can easily wrap your fingers around the large, I don't see how you could go wrong with them.
