I like them fine. That said, I'm finding that I lace up the spd shoes less and less. Yesterday and Sunday, it was Teva sandals on the flat side of the pedals, and it felt great. If I had to do it again, I'd probably go with MKS, like the ones on my fixie. Not being clipped in is less hassle and more comfortable to me.
