This mount will wear out and fall apart at some point, dropping your phone on the road. It's nearly 100% plastic, and after some amount of miles it simply fatigues and breaks. I've had 2 of them (ps to the idiots, I was not mounting it to my bike to make phone calls or text)

For a motorcycle, it may be fine since it has a suspension.
