Followed this thread for a bit, find it pretty funny! As a retired sailor and a happily married man after 22 years I can tell you most men are dogs! I understand the whole trust thing but women can get pretty jealous and us men too. My take on it is if there is a group not an issue if you have a female riding partner and you find yourself even the slightest bit attracted then your best bet is to not ride with her. Don't set yourself up for failure! Just don't put yourself in a situation where there is the slightest chance of things going south. Don't let the ego get in the way and think it is cool to be riding around with a hot chick. If that is the case get your wife out there riding! Anywho you tread potentially deadly ground setting yourself up! Ride with the hot chica on the group rides!
