Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

I know I am replying to your post but my point isnt directed specifically at you - I am just amazed by how many people here seem to think that their GF or SO going out with a single guy is somehow an invitation to cheating or to creepy thoughts on the part of the other person.

I've done a bunch of consulting gigs in the Middle East and I expect this attitude there, not here. This is precisely the type of thinking that is behind the burkha, or the Saudi rules that married women must not be alone with other men.
ok well, maybe i should define oogling..as in not staring...as in having feelings and wanting and trying to do something about it. I don't care if guys want my girl, shes with me...and thats that, I don't need guys that are in to her and taking her kindness the wrong way. Shes super nice, I am too. I talk to a lot of girls and have many female friends. there have been times when signals were mixed and confused and quickly needed to be corrected. it happens, but those are girls I no longer spend time with unless she or other friends are around. Just don't need the drama...

anybody can say how they would ideally act in such situations...I just try to be honest with myself in knowing that I WOULD have a problem with it, not for my insecurities, because she makes me feel very secure, but for the sheer fact that somebody else was treading on my grounds...like i said before...i tend to be very alpha male when it comes to things like that. I don't care if people look down on me for that...i see it as simple nature. I understand that there are other males who are more alpha than me...and im not afraid to back away lol...darwinism...don't **** with **** that can kill you. either way...if somebody is going to cheat they are going to cheat...you can't stop that...that usually occurs when something is already wrong in the relationship...if that's the case then you need something to end it anyways...cut your losses and move on.

That is the point...introducing extramarital coed activity is what sometimes exposes flaws in relationships of previously happy, committed couples with what they thought were solid morals and foundations.

Gomez would NEVER let Morticia ride with another guy - - - that would call for a duel!

I don't know about you young fellows, but I'm not usually thinking about sex when I'm riding. That's surprising, 'cause mainly that's all I think about when I'm not riding.

Sometimes I do think about riding when I'm having sex, but I guess that's a different issue.

If you get my drift.
