Absolute nonsense!

Andrea Cinelli was President of Cinelli when the Laser was unveiled. Cino was fully aware of the bike, but was enjoying retirement among his olive trees in Toscana. The bike follows through on a number of features that were very dear to Cino himself and can readily be defined as a refinement of the direction that Cino had embarked upon starting in the 60's. The bike was not designed for bike shows but rather for use in race events and was successfully used in racing for years, including for numerous record attempts.
