Play with your seat angle and fore/aft position (assuming the height is correct) as well as bar angle before spending money. There is a lot of info online about this part of bike fitting. It will also be cheaper and easier to just put a wider tire on the front wheel to absorb shock than to buy a new fork

p.s. Riding drop bars without hoods for hours on the road really sucks
