No It's not because I dont ride with some ****ty under 100 dollar carbon fork haha. I don't know why you just wont listen to over half the people in this thread when there telling you all the other things you could do to absorb some of the shock from your rides. Guess you just want to me Mr.COOLHIPSTER.

i think as most people are atleast implying you need to adjust your fit before you start throwing money at upgrades, i've done countless rides between 60 and 80 miles using various handlebar set ups. From track drops to bullhorns to porter bars, i've never had any hand or wrist pain, my current ride and my previous two have been completely steel.

that being said, the nashbar option that others have suggested but you're too lazy to look at has a 43mm rake that'll probably be alright replacing your kilo's 44mm fork, also it'll probably be stiffer than your current set up

I'm still using the 23c's that came stock with my bike but I bought a nice pair of gloves and replaced my stem/bars/tape for ~$100 CDN. It's a night and day difference now that I'm properly fit and the tape/gloves absorbs alot of the shock that was causing me wrist/elbow pain. Probably gonna use wider tires as well when the stock ones wear out.
