Say, anyone know if I could get a kind of all-in-one deal where a doctor checks my blood for nutrients / hormones and all that as well? Kind of curious if I'm missing something in my diet too.
I eat around 150-180 grams of protein per day so I don't think that's the problem at least...
And while we're at it: Is it better to eat more on ride days and less on rest days or would it just be better to spread it out evenly?
that would be an endocrinologist, I believe. If you go to your primary physician they'll send you to the phlebotomist get your blood taken and then figure it out from there. Maybe you can find an endocrinologist or a dietitian/nutritionist and ask your doctor to refer you instead.
I eat how I feel and I think it's okay to eat sweets. I also don't follow a strict diet and maybe you should up your protein....even if you do eat 150-180g a day. like I said, I'm doing different activities everyday - i help my parents with yard work so maybe that day I'll eat more.
hah, sorry if my post is not very helpful.
