KOPS(knee over pedal) and hub thing are not that accurate for everyone as far as fitting goes and being the rule of thumb. There are no rules of thumb except to do whatever is comfy for you. If I do KOPS, I have way too much weight on my arms since I have short legs and long torso. Plus my knees hurt and my center of gravity isn't very centered. If I hide the hub when on hoods, I am too far back...
