Should be a busy weekend. Lots of wind and rain predicted here, sustained winds 50-75 for a few hours, 5" of rain.

Looks like the Kitty Hawk area will catch it the worst, for wind. Problem for most of NC coast is the inland push of water, subsequent flooding.

VA Beach should be OK, as the coastline tilts back in. Problem there will be flooding, too.

If I were a betting man, I'd say the Eastern Shore of MD, Delaware beaches, Atlantic City (may need a good scrubbing), Philly and NYC are not going to like this storm.

Looks like it tilted east about 1-2 degrees last night.

Everyone stay safe, and watch out for flooded streets and roads. They are the #1 killer in these events.

Of course, after that, I'll be busy handling claims. Not only the real ones, but the imagined and the outright fraud.
