Bikes: roadsters, club bikes, fixed and classic

Go to a music store and buy cork grease for woodwinds. Seriously. It's very similar to old proofhide (has tallow in it?) but some brands are scented. Use it sparingly even though it's dirt cheap. A little goes a long way. I've used it on a number of my Brooks the past year with no ill effects.

Of course I'm biased and play alto sax.
