In my case, the LBS I was referring to caters to the high end CX crowd, so they wouldn't have what I'm wanting in stock. After a brief phone call to verify that they could/would order from the entire product line, I emailed them my list of models of the brands that they carried I was interested: Scott SUB 30 and 40, Redline Metro 9, Metro Disc, and 925 (even commented that those models didn't appear to be in the 2012 online catalog) and for shins and grins, asked about the Torker KB2 as well. They have not yet responded.

On a side note, I emailed the local Trek store about the possibility and cost of ordering an Earl with the S2C hub installed. Was informed that another wheel would have to be ordered, which would run an additional $200-$250 over the cost of the bike itself .
