I think the boyds look awesome WITH the decals.

tons of people debadge their wheels. I would think it would hurt for resale value if you didn't keep the decals becuase the buyer may not have a way to know for a fact they are what you claim they are? It wont hurt the wheel by any means. as for what looks better, you will find different answers
