Bad idea to take decals off wheels?

Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Yep. It never ceases to amaze (and amuse) me how much people are willing to PAY to advertise for someone else. Innit s'pose to work the other way around??

I removed the amateurish looking stickers from my Velocity A23 rims. AFAIK, nothing bad has happened, yet.

Bikes: Giant Defy 3

I remove mine because I like them to just be plain looking.

Before I sell my bike, I'll just write "ZIPP 808" on there with a white paint pen so I can maybe get a little extra $ out of the deal. If questioned about it, I'll just say they were prototypes or something.

Buying a Cervelo should help fix that

I took the decals off my Fulcrum 3s. They came right off, but I did have to spend a few minutes picking off bits of extra glue. I think they look awesome in flat black, black spokes, and just the red logo on the hubs.
