carrying fountain drinks

Hey everybody,

Sorry I'm completely new to forums. I always find them helpful, but never decided to post anything whenever I have an issue, so bare with me if I'm doing something wrong, or posting in the wrong section.

I've been working as a sandwich delivery guy for a few years now. I Love the job, I ride about 30+ miles in a 5 hour shift, loads of fun. I use a Chrome Metropolis messenger bag, and I've fallen in love with it. For my line of work, where speed is a necessity, it allows me to make quick transactions with the customers.

However, where I work, we do not carry bottled sodas, we only carry fountain drinks. So here is the problem. I am currently taping up the lids of the sodas, putting them in two sandwich bags, and carry them on my handlebars. anything over two sodas is a nightmare. I probably have 2 sodas leak through the sandwich bags a month, and plop on the ground. As you could imagine, bagging up/taping/carrying these sodas is extremely time consuming. which is not very good for me

Somebody please give me some input. thanks!
