Shifting "kathunk"

I'm very new to road cycling (new bike about a month ago) and i've been experiencing a "kathunk" sort of sound when shifting, as i'm new to this I don't know if it's supposed to sound like this or not. It happens infrequently but more often than not, doesn't seem to matter if i'm shifting harder or easier, bike is orbea aqua 105.

what i've recently done to it is cleaned the chain (degreased / lubed) & fallen over a few times due to clipless-fail.

Any E-diagnosis would be most welcome if this isn't normal
