Great find Bill! I came across one last spring and I was inspired by Dawes-man's thread as well. I've slowly been gathering bits and pieces and as of now it will be a mix of 1st. generation Cyclone and Superbe, with a drilled ring Sugino crankset.
I'm struggling with the color scheme, part of me wants to add some subtle pastel colored bar tape and cable housing, kind of a visual lightness worthy of the Silk name. I have a wonderful brown Brooks Pro for it but I'm afraid that will look too heavy color wise.
I'll be watching with interest what you do.
