+1
I just passed 10,600 miles on the STOCK Sram PC1070 chain and cassette. A metal tape measure and a steel ruler both indicate that I haven't reached the elongation limit. AND, with a new chain installed, there is NO skipping.
I clean and lube the chain regularly and keep the entire drivetrain including cassette clean. I'm 5'8, 150 so not a huge guy, I'm typically a spinner and not a big gear masher and I average in the 19 - 21 MPH range depending on the terrain, wind, how I feel blah blah blah. I think the biggest thing is NOT shifting under load.
