Ok; I guess I've been using the 3/32" measurement incorrectly. Apparently all road chains are 3/32", but 9/10 speed chains are still thinner, right? So I still have the same question. Has anyone else had success using 9/10 speed chainrings with an 8 speed chain? Do most people look for used parts when using fewer than 9 speeds?
