For those of you who HAVE built up your Caad10 5, pics would be fantastic.

For those of you who wouldn't dare... why not?
Is this a complete bike and you are thinking of upgrading it or are you buying just a frame? In either case, the frame is worthy of being built into whatever you want. I personally wouldn't get a bike with a group I didn't want though since it would be pricey to upgrade. The 10-5 comes with 105 (I think) so if you are happy with 105 then upgrade the wheels when you have the cash and other things as you go. I got the 9-4 (Rival) and love it. I have at times wondered if I should have bought carbon but I couldn't afford anything but entry level and I'm still not sold on the whole plastic bike thing. The caad is a great bike and tons of fun. I only upgraded wheels so far and have no intent to do much else to it except maybe a different seat post and saddle but so far I don't really see a need (more just a want).

The caad and a beer can have about as much in common as your carbon bike and pencil lead.
